I have been asked to participate in the Great Race 2008.
The original Great Race motor rally was first seen in 1908 to prove that a car was just as reliable as a horse. The race will start in New York, go through Canada, air lift to Chine , travel though Russis and end in Paris 10 weeks later. Check out the map here.
Now 100 years later, the efficiency driving division is a part of the Great Race for the very first time and we are setting out to prove that a hybrid vehicle is just as reliable and more gasoline efficient than a standard gas guzzling auto.
This historic moment will break records.....and yes...Guiness has been notified.
As one of the top 3 drivers in the world for distance efficiency driving in the United States, I expect to finish at the top of the score card. Since nothing in life is free and my wife and children still have to eat while I galivant across the globe....I am accepting donations for things like airplane tickets, mortgage payments, and groceries.
